Florence “Flo” May Wilson, died, June 12, 2012, with many of her friends close by and supportive. She was born May 12, 1930, to Lloyd C. Wilson and Elsie B. Toney Wilson, in Eagle Point, Ore. Flo lived in the Rogue Valley all of her 82 years. She was diagnosed with cerebral palsey as an infant and spent most of her life in a wheelchair.
Flo learned to live the way of Jesus early on and spent her entire life thinking of and praying for others. She lived with a remarkably contented spirit. Flo was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Helen Brown. She is survived by her sister’s family, niece, Sally Brown, and her children; and nephew, Barry Brown; as well as her beloved church family at Water’s Edge Community Church.
A celebration of her life and caring spirit will be held at the Water’s Edge Community Church, during the regular Sunday service, July 8, 2012, 9:30 a.m., at 106 North Central, Medford, Ore., corner of Sixth and Central in the Kid Time Discovery Center building.
