Loresa Mayfield of Eagle Point is a cheerleader, belongs to All-star Cheerleading, Leadership, 4H, is senior class /vice president, Link, school board student representative, track, figure skating, and community 101. She has received the principal’s award, is in the Top 5 percent, honor roll and has been recognized by the school Board. Plans are to attend OIT and become a radiologist.
Brian Lynch of Eagle Point is the second Lions student of the month. Brian is enrolled in the RCC dual credit program studying electronics. Brian is a member of the National Honor Society who scored 1200 on the SAT tests. Brian plans on entering an engineering program through RCC, SOU and University of Oregon. Two years at RCC, then a transfer to SOU and finally engineering at U of O.
Brandy Peterson of Eagle Point is a Rotary student of the month. Brandy is pianist in the Jazz Band, part time student at RCC enrolled in the Business Tech program. She is also in FFA floriculture. She is a member of the National Honor Society and has been recognized for attendance and honor roll every year in school. She was recognized as the most improved in Band. Plans are to finish at RCC and transfer out of state to finish an associate’s degree in culinary arts, and then transfer to LeCordon Bleu in Eugene to pursue a degree in culinary arts/cooking.
Dakota Summers of Eagle Point is involved in Trio, RCC through the Morris Family Foundation. Dakota attends Trail Christian Fellowship and leads worship for a youth group. Honors include academic honor roll, Top 5% and rotary student of the month. Plans include continuing education at RCC in Business Administration to finish an associate’s degree, then transferring to OIT for a bachelor’s degree.
