Suspect sought in vehicle elude in White City

On Friday, March 29, 2013 at 10:20 p.m., a Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputy attempted to stop a vehicle for speeding on Highway 62 near Avenue G in White City. The vehicle is described as a white Cadillac with Oregon license plate 692FTB.

The vehicle started to pull over on Avenue G, but then took off and led the deputy to numerous streets in White City. The deputy attempted the “PIT” maneuver near 29th and Falcon St, which caused the suspect vehicle to spin out, but recovered and continued to flee. The deputy lost sight of the vehicle near White Mountain Middle School and the pursuit was cancelled.

Between 10:24 p.m. and 10:49 p.m., a few reports from citizens came in about the speeding vehicle in the Eagle Point area; however multiple deputies and assisting agencies could not locate it.

Around 10:50 p.m., Butte Falls Police Department located the vehicle on Butte Falls Highway towards Highway 62 and initiated a pursuit. The vehicle drove at high speeds south on Highway 62 and avoided spike strips three times. The vehicle did a “U” turn before reaching Eagle Point and headed north on Highway 62. The vehicle was lost again on Highway 62 near Butte Falls Highway and the pursuit was cancelled around 10:58 p.m. Information was later received that it was last seen in Shady Cove.

The vehicle was occupied by three males and none were identified. We have limited possible information on the driver, however that information cannot be confirmed at this time. If you have any information or locate
