Bob Hawkins passed away July 1 in Medford. Bob was born in Milwaukie Wisconsin, April 5, 1925. He served in the U. S. Army from June 1943 until November 1945. He served in Europe.
Bob worked as an automotive specialist at Crater Lake Motors until his retirement in the late 1980s. He belonged to the Jacksonville Masonic Lodge in Jacksonville, was a member of the Medford Shriners, EAA, Medford Train Park, Medford Model Airplanes (founding member) the Upper Rogue Community Center, the Shady Cove Trail Wildflower Association and the Trail Museum.
Survivors include Jim Hawkins of Grants Pass, OR, David Hawkins of Medford, OR, Susan Marquess of Talent, OR, Pat White of Phoenix, AZ, sister Ethel Milbrath of Milwaukee, WI, stepchildren: Johanna Brewer of Eagle Point, Joe Johnson of Medford, and wife Daryl Joanne (Dee) Hawkins of Shady Cove. He had five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Hawkins was preceded in death by wife Marcene Hawkins, sisters Florence Irene Gatz, Phyllis Mae Humsik and brother, Charles Allen Hawkins.

Arrangements by Neptune. Hawkins will be laid to rest at the Eagle Point National Cemetery.
