Mercer nominated to Cowgirl Hall of Fame

Carole Mercer of Eagle Point recently received the following letter from the Cowgirl Hall of Fame:

Dear Ms Mercer:

You have been successfully nominated by Aaron and Meg Ralston for possible induction into the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame.

We have received your nomination file from Mr and Mrs. Ralston and find it both impressive and complete. You are one of only a select few whose file was chosen for retention. Your nomination file will be maintained in our archives and available to the public for perusal and research.

You are encouraged to update your file as needed with new information, awards photographs, or articles as new events of importance occur in your life. Please note that candidates often maintain nominee status for years as currently have over 500 successful nominees for the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame; only four or five are selected as honorees each year. Please forward all pertinent additional material to the Research Manager at the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame.

Congratulations on your successful nomination. We salute you for your accomplishments and are deeply honored to permanently house your application in our archives.
