The Little Butte Creek Watershed Council, the City of Eagle Point, and the Jackson Soil & Water Conservation District are hosting the 2013 Watershed Festival on Saturday September 7 from 10:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Harnish Wayside Park in Eagle Point. There will be events and booths for children and adults, including the big salmon tent, stream table, salmon prints, music, and food. Come and learn about the local fishery, water conservation strategies, and new irrigation equipment. Last year Smokey the Bear showed up and Billy Beaver is expected this year. Come to the park and have some fun!
All activities are free and are part of the City of Eagle Point’s Water Resources Awareness during the month of September. This is the second year of the Watershed Festival in Eagle Point and has proved to be a popular event.
