I recently got an email from one of the leaders in the GMO-free Jackson County, urging me to jump on the band wagon and endorse the GMO-Free movement. His reason was that I should join with county farmers rather than a person or group from another part of the country.
Now that the controversy is raging, and don’t think it isn’t, there are a few things to say. One is that I will support a side because I believe they are right, but not because they are local or that the other side is from outside of this county. The choice is still clear: you choose the side that is right, not the one that is your next door neighbor.
