Notice of Public Hearing and Budget Committee Meeting. 

There will be a public hearing on May 22, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. in the Eagle Point City Council Chambers, 17 Buchanan Avenue South, Eagle Point, Oregon regarding the use of revenue sharing funds.

Directly following this hearing, a public meeting of the Budget Committee of the City of Eagle Point, Jackson County, State of Oregon, will be held to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014.  The purpose of this meeting is to receive the budget message and document of the City, and to receive comment from the public on the budget.  A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after May 17, 2013 at Eagle Point City Hall between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.  This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place.  Any person may appear at this meeting to discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee.  An additional meeting will be held only if necessary. That meeting, if necessary, will be held on May 29, 2013 at 6:00 p.m.

NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING

A public meeting of the Budget Committee of Fire District Number Four of Jackson County, State of Oregon, will be held to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014, This meeting will take place on May 15, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at the location of 21200 Highway 62, Shady Cove, at the Headquarters Fire Station. The purpose of this meeting is to receive the budget message and receive comment from the public on the budget. A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after May 15, 2013 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place. QUALIFICATIONS: Two-year college degree, or pass the skills test. Prior job related experience considered, but not required. Evidence of good leadership and citizenship qualities and an interest in students.

REPORTS TO: Principal.

JOB GOAL: To prepare children under five years of age for kindergarten by giving them a basic understanding of school and teaching them basic skills.

- Plan, prepare and organize activities that will teach pre-school aged students basic skills, while stressing school behavior and manners that will prepare them for kindergarten.

- Keep an organized classroom that promotes safety and accessibility to learning and use of physical resources.

-  Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress.

-  Order and keep an inventory of supplies needed while maintaining a budget.

-  Advertising and tracking for enrollment of new students.

-  Other duties assigned by the principal.
