Saturday, Jan. 21 everyone is invited to enjoy some wonderful soup and bread and then hear from two folks who were caught in that horrible earthquake in New Zealand. Their tale is quite incredible. The lunch is only $3. Food will be served at 11:30 with the program at 1 p.m.

Fraud prevention seminar

A representative of PremierWest Bank will present a special program on fraud prevention at the Eagle Point Senior Center, 121 Loto St., Wednesday, Dec. 14, from 1:30-2:30 p.m. This program should be of particular interest to seniors, but it is open to anyone and it is free.
